Are there spending minimums when reserving the private room?
-There are no spending minimums required in reserving the private room. The room rental fee of $200 is required to hold the reservation.
What is the cost to reserve the whole restaurant for an event?
-a whole restaurant buy-out must meet food and beverage spending minimums, plus sales tax and 20% gratuities. A Monday-Thursday lunch buy-out requires a $5000 spending minimum. A Monday-Thursday dinner buy-out 4-9pm requires an $8000 spending minimum. The PM minimum increases to $10,000 in the month of December for a weeknight event. A Friday or Saturday PM buy-out requires a $15,000 spending minimum, and the PM minimum increases for Fridays and Saturdays in December to $18,000.
How many guests will the private room accommodate?
-The private room can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests for a ‘sit down event’. A reception style event can accommodate no more than 30 guests. For a whole restaurant buy-out, we can accommodate approximately 125 guests. For a reception style event, we can accommodate up to 125 guests.
Can I reserve the wineshop for an event?
-you may reserve the wineshop any Monday-Saturday evening after 6pm. There is a $100 room rental fee which is invoiced and payable online. No f&b spending minimums apply. The wine shop can accommodate up to 15 guests for a reception style event. Sit down/served lunches or dinners are not available in our wine shop.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions/food allergies?
-yes, we offer several menu items which are vegetarian or gluten free, and many items can be customized when catering to special requests or restrictions.
Is the restaurant handicapped accessible?
- There is an attached garage with the building and the restaurant is accessed from the terrace level. There are handicapped spaces on the lobby level and you can take the elevator down from the lobby level to the terrace level.
Where can guests park?
-the building has an attached garage and the restaurant is on the terrace level. When exiting the garage, an $8 parking fee is paid through the kiosk. There is curbside parking on spring street and around the courthouse square. The Clinton avenue parking garage is just north of the courthouse square, accessible from Clinton avenue. Metered parking is free after 5pm and free on Saturdays and Sundays.
Can I bring in a cake or other dessert for my event?
-we will allow an outside cake or other dessert to be brought in ,but we cannot refrigerate it for you or store it in our kitchen as it is against health department regulations to bring outside food into our kitchen. There is a $1.50 per person fee charged if staff cuts, plates, and serves outside desserts.
Can I decorate the private room?
-yes. We allow flower arrangements, balloons, banners, etc.. no nails are allowed to be hammered into walls. No glitter or confetti allowed.
Do you provide audio/visual equipment?
-the restaurant can supply a 55” HDTV w/ HDMI cable, any other AV would need to be brought in or rented at the customers charge.
Do you provide tablecloths for events?
-the restaurant does not provide tablecloths. Tablecloths and other rented items can be arranged through Mullins Special Occasions, at the customers expense.
Is a deposit required when reserving the private room?
-no deposit is required for a private room reservation, only the room rental fee. A 20% of the minimum deposit is required for a whole restaurant buy-out.
