2022 Mother Block White Blend, Victoria, Australia $16.99
Mother Block White Blend is a co-fermented blend pulling the best qualities from six white Italian varieties, Vermentino and Fiano with touches of Gechetto, Greco, Glera and Pinot Bianco. The grapes are pressed and co-fermented on full solids. Wild ferment takes place and once dry, sees maturation in stainless steel with 6 months on fine lees.
Aptly named ‘Mother Block’, these wines come from the red sand and limestone soils of the Chalmers Vineyard in Merbein, the heart and hub of everything we do. As well as it being the location of our family home and business, this unique and diverse vineyard is the adopted home to each variety that we’ve imported to Australia over the last 20+ years. It is also the source block for supplying millions of vines planted across Australia through our vine nursery, hence the name Mother Block.

2021 Seppeltsfield Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia $25.99
The Cabernet is vinified through the historic 1888 Gravity Cellar. Built into the hillside on a series of terraces, gravity guides the flow of fruit down through the winery to deliver gentle extraction of color, flavor and tannin.  Nose of lifted black currant, fresh Davidson plum fruit, and ripe lilly pilly (a native purple
berry), with complex brown spices. Ripe fruits, subtle floral notes, tobacco, Dorrigo pepperleaf (a menthol like native herb), and polished oak spices find balance and complexity on the palate. Classic Clare Valley structure and elegance.

2021 Murdoch Hill Red Blend, Adelaide Hills, Australia $21.99
This 2021 Red Blend is predominately Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Merlot 20% Sangiovese 20%. It displays typical lifted Cabernet aromas of mulberry with the merlot bringing more bright red and black fruits, overall a bright persistent red fruited wine with soft fine grain tannins and vibrant acidity built for early enjoyment. ECOLOGY : Organic

2022 Murdoch Hill Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills, Australia $22.99
The organic 2022 vintage is beautifully balanced with ripe tropical and stone fruit aromas. Flavors of ripe guava, mango, and pineapple are accented by hints of lime, lemon, and gooseberries, alongside classic herbal tones. It is fruit-forward yet balanced and complex. Although Sauvignon Blanc is usually light-bodied, the winemakers took 10% of the juice and fermented it with wild yeasts in used French oak barrels for weight and finesse. The rest of this medium-bodied wine was aged in steel tanks.
Murdoch Hill is a family-run winery in Australia’s Adelaide Hills, a region named after the rolling landscape surrounding the city of Adelaide.

2022 Mother Block Red Blend, Victoria, Australia $16.99
62% Sagrantino, 17% Nero d’Avola, 7% Aglianico, 6% Sangiovese, 5% Uva di Troia, 2% Teroldego, 1% Piedirosso
: A co-fermented blend pulling the best qualities from seven red Italian varieties imported by Chalmers. The aromatics combine red and purple fruits -- pomegranate, riberry (a tart native berry), plum, and cherry -- with savory qualities of Szechuan peppercorn, licorice, river mint, and sesame. Gulpable, food friendly, and bright, the Mother Block Red Blend is a wine for every palate, dish, and occasion.
Matured in stainless steel for 8 months. Vegan friendly.

2021 Fighting Gully Road Sangiovese, Beechworth,  Australia $34.99
95% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino  A sangiovese that combines the best of structure and juicy accessibility. Aromas of sour cherry, plum, and muntries (a tart native berry) with nuances of dried anise myrtle and native oregano. Medium bodied, savory and textural, with line of finegrained tannins and acidity running throughout.
