2023 Murgo Etna Bianco, Sicily, Italy $24.99
This distinctive white from Mount Etna displays a pale straw color with green reflections. The nose is intensely mineral, offering aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a pronounced flinty note. The palate is crisp and textured, with flavors of green apple, almond, and a distinctive saline streak supported by vibrant acidity. Made from Carricante and Catarratto grown in volcanic soils, the wine earned 91 points for its terroir expression. The long, mineral finish makes it superb with grilled fish or seafood pasta.
70% Carricante and 30% Catarratto Bianco from Northern slope of Mount Etna
Manual harvest. Maceration in the press for 4 hours. Static decanting and fermentation is stainless steel. Aged in stainless steel for 6 months.
2024 Nervi-Conterno Vino Rosato, Piedmont, Italy $29.99
"Fruit for the Nebbiolo Rosato is fermented in steel and aged four months on the lees, which leads to a textured and savory wine full of strawberry, white flower, and fresh herb flavors. Nervi is the oldest winery in Gattinara that is still producing. In 2018, Roberto Conterno owner of the Barolo legend Giacomo Conterno bought a 90 percent stake in it, which should tell you just how good this winery and its prime vineyards in the Gattinara DOCG are. He had been working as a consultant oenologist here and recognised the incredible quality. This rosato is made using some grapes from some of Nervi's top crus, such as Molsino and Valferana. These are plots that you would expect to be saved for their top reds, making this a very serious rosato."~Distributor Notes

2023 Murgo Etna Rosso, Sicily, Italy $24.99
this “gang of four” assembled in a less conventional manner: they met while hiking in the Gredos mountains, one of the most profound wine terroirs to emerge in recent years.
Located 80km west of Madrid, the Sierra de Gredos is a mountain range that spreads over parts of three appellations – Méntrida, Vinos de Madrid, and Castilla y León – and sits between 600 and 1200 meters in elevation. Old bush vines planted on sand, granite, and schist intermingle with sweet-scented olive, evergreen, almond, and chestnut trees, scrub brush, chamomile, and wildflowers.
GR-10 Blanco is the team's Vino de Sierra or "villages level" white from vineyards in Cadalso de los Vidrios and San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Grapes are hand-harvested, cold- macerated whole cluster for 6 hours, pressed and wild yeast fermented in steel tank and barrel for 40 days, then raised in neutral 300 liter barrels for 6 months.
Varieties: About 60% Albillo, with Macabeu, Chelva Blanca, Chelva
Rosa, and Muscat.
2024 Occhipinti Sp 68 Rosso, Sicily, Italy $35.99
Medium-bodied, dry. Floral on the nose with a juicy palate of dark plum, garrigue, cherry, and blackberries. Finishes with minerals, spice, and violet.
70% Frappato/30% Nero d'Avola. From certified-organic estate vines, averaging 20+ years old and planted on chalky, sandy soils. The bunches are harvested by hand, destemmed and co-fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in concrete tanks. Maceration lasts approximately two weeks. The wine is aged in concrete tanks for 6 months and bottled unfiltered. Sulfur use is modest. "SP68" is the Strada Provinciale 68, the country road on which the Occhipinti winery and home vineyard lie.
Arianna Occhipinti has become a seminal figure for a new generation of wine lovers. Her rise to prominence has been meteoric, and rightfully so: anyone who has ever met Ari will instantly vouch for her charming personality and seemingly boundless energy. Arianna is the niece of Giusto Occhpinti, whose COS wines are undisputedly amongst the very best of Sicily.

#13 Wine Spectator Top 100 2024
The core of cherry, pomegranate and raspberry fruit is detailed with Tuscan scrub, iron, vanilla and tobacco notes as this intense red builds in power to the expansive conclusion, where its fruit, mineral and wild herb flavors converge. Shows fine balance and length; this just needs time to absorb the oak. Best from 2027 through 2043. 5,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported.
Soil: Predominently quartz rock & calcareous alberese mixed with alluvial pebbles; some strataform sandstone & loam. 35 year-old vines. De-stemmed and pressed, fermented and macerated in stainless steel for 14-16 days. 12-16 months in medium-size Slavonian oak barrels, and twice and thrice used French oak barrels. 6 months bottle-aged before release
Fèlsina is a historic estate in the southeastern corner of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. Since its acquisition by the Poggiali family in 1966, Fèlsina has become renowned for its dedication to Sangiovese, producing wines that are both expressive and true to their terroir.
