NV La Petit Roche Saumur Brut, Loire Valley, France $24.99
Domaine de la Petite Roche Saumur Méthode Traditionnelle is a sparkling wine made with 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Chardonnay made in the traditional method. In the glass, the wine sits a light-gold color with a persistent bead of tiny bubbles. The nose is very expressive with a complex mélange of apple and pear fruits combined with lovely notes of pastry dough and fruit crumble. On the palate, the wine is racy and fresh with an enticing mix of green apple, Bosc pear and shortbread flavors that lead into a lasting finish with great depth and length.
Located in Anjou, in the heart of the Loire Valley, Domaine de la Petite Roche is owned by the Regnard family, who has been growing vines there since the French Revolution.

2024 Ktima Spiropoulos Moschoflero, Montinia, Greece $32.99
In the 1970’s the Spiropoulos family uprooted and replanted their vineyards with younger vines. An experimental vineyard was also created to save local varieties that were nearing extinction. Since 1993, Domaine Spiropoulos has received numerous medals for its organically grown wines. The Domaine is located in Mantinia, an area in the Peloponnese region. The International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements has also certified the Domaine’s grapes as a product of organic farming.

Variety: 100% Moschofilero
Tasting Notes: Bright yellow with grey hue, bergamot, rose water, jasmine, stone fruit, medium body, intense acidity, mineral flavor, long finish
Vinification method: Cold maceration for few hours, classic white vilification at low temperatures
Vineyards: Family owned organic vineyards in Agiorgitika village, Mantinia PDO region at 650-680m altitude
Age of vines & pruning: Average 20 years old, double cordon

2022 4 Monos Blanco, Sierra de Gredos, Madrid, Spain $30.99
4 Monos (4 Monkeys) is a team of four friends and lovers of wine native to this region. As is typical of The New Spain, this “gang of four” assembled in a less conventional manner: they met while hiking in the Gredos mountains, one of the most profound wine terroirs to emerge in recent years.

Located 80km west of Madrid, the Sierra de Gredos is a mountain range that spreads over parts of three appellations – Méntrida, Vinos de Madrid, and Castilla y León – and sits between 600 and 1200 meters in elevation. Old bush vines planted on sand, granite, and schist intermingle with sweet-scented olive, evergreen, almond, and chestnut trees, scrub brush, chamomile, and wildflowers.

GR-10 Blanco is the team's Vino de Sierra or "villages level" white from vineyards in Cadalso de los Vidrios and San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Grapes are hand-harvested, cold- macerated whole cluster for 6 hours, pressed and wild yeast fermented in steel tank and barrel for 40 days, then raised in neutral 300 liter barrels for 6 months.

Varieties: About 60% Albillo, with Macabeu, Chelva Blanca, Chelva
Rosa, and Muscat.

2023 La Petit Roche Anjou Cabernet Franc, Loire Valley, France $21.99
The Petite Roche Anjou Rouge is made from 100% Cabernet Franc grown on a mix of schist and sandy-clay silt soils. All grapes are destemmed, then fermented and aged in concrete to retain the purity of fruit. This wine pours a deep ruby red in the glass, offering intense aromas ripe red and black berry fruits infused with a spicy and mineral undertone. This Cab Franc delivers a generous, structured and fruity palate with concentrated flavors of dark raspberry, cherry and blackberry balanced by firm, yet yielding tannins. Petite Roche's Anjou Rouge finishes with freshness and depth while exhibiting enough length to entice your next sip. Enjoy with grilled meats, spicy pizzas or soft cheeses.

This is a gorgeous wine. Perfumed aromas of raspberry-blossom, rosehip, dried-cherry flakes and violet open on the nose followed by black olive and boysenberry. Supple tannins guide a well-integrated mix of red-and-black fruit along a roller-coaster ride of flavors that are showered in pencil shavings, forest floor and dried hay.

2023 4 Monos GR-10 Tinto, Sierra de Gredos, Madrid, Spain $27.99
GR-10 Tinto is the team's Vino de Sierra or "villages level" red from several parcels in Cadalso de los Vidrios, San Martín de Valdeiglesias & Cenicientos. The grapes are typically cold macerated 50% whole cluster and 50% de-stemmed, wild yeast fermented for 30-40 days, then raised in 300, 400 and 500 liter used barrels for 9 months.
Varieties: About 90% Garnacha, with a small amount of Cariñena and Syrah.
Vineyard: From several plots of organically farmed vines of a range of ages (the Garnacha vines are the oldest, ranging up to 100 years of age) planted on sandy granitic soils at 700-830m elevation.

The GR-10 is named after the spectacular walking trail, GR-10, which connects Lisbon and Valencia and crosses through a few of 4 Monos' vineyards. A blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Morenillo and Syrah, it pours a pale mid-ruby color with garnet highlights. Elegant on the nose, featuring aromas of ripe red berry and stone fruits complimented by spice and a lovely floral note. The palate is fresh, lively and juicy with soft, fine-grained tannins that perfectly frame the sweet fruit and leads to a refined and savory finish; a mineral spine adds complexity. Enjoy with dry-rub pork chops, assorted cured meats or a good book.
