2024 Christophe Patrice Aligote, Burgundy, France $23.99
Winemaking
Planted on a variety of soils (from Portlandian to Kimmeridgian) on the limestone plateaux of the commune of Saint-Bris, the vines are 30 to 60 years old.
After a long, gentle pressing and twenty hours of cold settling, fermentation took place at around 16° to 18° Celsius using indigenous yeasts. Ageing for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes
The youth and liveliness of this wine bring out the interesting aromas typical of the grape variety and the Portland soil. It has a fresh, floral bouquet of dried fruit and a rich, well-balanced body.

Recommended serving temperature: 10-12°C

Food pairing
Pairs perfectly with fish pies, quenelles and aubergine tian.

2021 Domaine Specht Pinot Noir, Alsace, France $23.99
Salt, fresh lemon, white grapefruit. Palate is gentle with linen, pomelo, honeycomb, saline. Agostino “Pippo” Parodi and his wife Bice inherited this special estate from Pippo's grandfather which at the time was mostly growing fruits & vegetables. They converted over the land starting in the 1960s to planting vineyards of native Ligurian varietals, mostly Pigato and also Rossese. The estate is named Feipu (local dialect for grandfather) and Massaretti, the locality. Now led by their daughter Brunella and her husband, Mirco Mastroianni. Small family estate, doing incredible work to keep these native varietals compelling and interesting.

2023 Le Grand Bouqueteau Chinon Reserve, Loire Valley, France $21.99
Varietal: Cabernet Franc 100%

Dark ruby-purple center with a violet rim and crimson-staining tears. The nose shows the dark ripeness while staying clean and bright. Black raspberries, black cherry, and red plum make their presence felt, alongside purple wildflowers, kirsch liqueur, and rocky soil

The Grand Bouqueteau vineyard, established in 2003, is celebrated for its rich diversity and quality of soils.

2023 San Biagio Verduno Pelaverga, Piedmont, Italy $32.99
A bright peachy pink color, like a warm sunrise over the sea. Together with fruity notes of grapefruit and pomegranate, with hints of delicate lavender flowers, bathed in Apulian sunshine.

A wonderful joining of classic winemaking and modern viticultural techniques, these exceptional wines are crafted from 100% estate grown fruit, a rarity among Puglian wines. Tormaresca is the only producer with vineyards in both of Puglia’s two elite winegrowing sub-regions: Salento and Castel del Monte DOC.

The Tormaresca estate is composed of two properties. Bocca di Lupo is located in the Castel del Monte DOC of northern Puglia. It offers an ideal growing environment for Chardonnay, Aglianico and Cabernet Sauvignon. Masseria Maime is located on the Salento peninsula in Southern Puglia. Its vineyards extend over half a mile along the Adriatic coast and are planted with Negroamaro, Primitivo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

2019 Chapillon Siendra, Calatayud, Spain $17.99
A gorgeous blend dominated by 80% Grenache grown on 70-year-old vines, it’s the kind of layered, complex, red-fruit-rich red that would push $30 if it were from the Rhône—and it deserves to be stacked high at our price.
Originally from the Loire Valley, Chapillon arrived in Spain over a decade ago and hasn’t looked back. He parlayed his French savoir-faire and 185 acres of vines in prime Spanish territory into amazing success.
Dominated by gorgeous old-vine Garnacha grown in the arid climes of Aragón, which lies southeast of Rioja, the 2019 Siendra paints a visual picture of the region with every sip. The wine’s old-vine Garnacha was raised in Chapillon’s Calatayud vineyard, and for the blend it got dosed with small amounts of Cabernet, Syrah, and Merlot. It has a gorgeous acidic lift, fine minerality, and has been mellowed by 12 months in oak.
