It is our essential task to provide our clients with complex, joyous and satisfying wines that celebrate the artisan, respect nature and inspire the imagination. Wine, when crafted with these objectives, is a social tool, one that assists in the formation of relationships and stimulates emotion and memory. Our offers are designed to broaden your vistas, enhance your appreciation of traditional European wines and bring memorable experiences to your table, all to be enjoyed with friends.

2023 Chateau Soucherie Anjou Blanc 'Les Rangs de Long' , Loire Valley, France $28.99
This cuvée is essentially vinified exclusively for our use in the US market. The grapes, 100% Chenin Blanc, are sourced from the vineyard site “Les Rangs de Long” which is on the northern part of the estate but with south-southeastern exposure. The soil is a mix of clay and sand and limestone with some schist. The wine is vinified totally dry in cuve and aged on the fine lees for eight to nine months before being bottled.

2022 Domaine Philippe Gilbert Menetou-Salon Blanc,  Loire Valley, France $36.99
Philippe’s stellar Menetou-Salon Blanc is unfailingly mineral-driven, yet without the straitjacketed citrusy rigidity more conventionally and commercially minded Loire Sauvignon Blanc frequently displays. A sense of lusciousness—one that is distinct from viscosity—provides a texturally attractive counterpoint to the rapier-like acidity, and nods ever so glancingly to its upstream Chenin-Blanc-based cousins, yet this is unmistakably Kimmeridgian-grown Sauvignon Blanc through and through. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, and aging takes place on the fine lees in stainless steel for one year, with total sulfur hovering at a modest 60 milligrams per liter.

2023 Thevenet & Fils Macon Villages, Burgundy, France $24.99
Raised in all stainless this is a wine all about purity and freshness. No oak here to impart richness or flavor, this is a wine that is full of ripe, structured and balanced Chardonnay with plenty of weight but balanced by a nibble of acidity on the finis

2023 Domaine Becheur Trousseau, Jura, France $37.99
Displaying a variety-typical depth of fruit and breadth of structure, Pêcheur’s Trousseau nonetheless offers easy drinkability and effortless balance, its cherry and plum fruit augmented by a hint of licorice. This is aged entirely in used demi-muids after a spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, and bottled just before the following harvest.

2023 Etienne Besheras Croze-Hermitage, Rhone Valley, France $33.99
This is, as Hemingway said about the best of writing, a “true” wine. There can be no wine more expressive of this appellation and of the Syrah of the northern Rhone than this splendid bottle of joy. A wine of sublime concentration that gives definition to the term “goût de sèvre”, this is satisfying, pure and flat-out delicious. It bristles with fresh acidity at the outset, then with aeration settles in to display classic northern Rhone meaty fruit. Becheras is a truly worthy successor to the great Michel Ferraton—a domaine we represented in its prime—his cave only missing the scrawled poetry that graced the walls of Ferraton’s cellar!

2022 Tellus Vinea Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux, France $23.99
The grapes for this wine are harvested from vineyards that border the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The grapes undergo a three-day cold maceration; the alcoholic fermentation then proceeds for eight to ten days. The wine is racked several times during its élevage in stainless steel and cement tanks before being bottled after an egg-white fining. The grape composition is predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc in the blend that provides additional structure to the wine.
